(Based on them only appearing in the late game and on the moon.) I believe that Mithrix is also the creator of the void reavers, sending them down to Petrichor V to try to switch the lunar teleporters back on. She visited frequently when Mithrix and Providence were children, teaching them how to make their creations and gifting them with glass frogs to chase. I believe that Kurskana the heretic is the 'she' that Mithrix keeps referring to in the logs. I have some thoughts, but I'm certainly not sure, a lot of this feels like wild conjecture to me so take it with a pinch of salt.
